The exquisite luxurious retreat has come to be as iconic as its architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, is once again on the market. Built in 1926, the residence is one of his most important works and has become one of Los Angeles’ landmarks. It got its from its original owner, painter and photographer John Sowden. As a landscape artist, Lloyd intended to merge architecture and landscape, and he seems to have successfully achieved his intention.

Beside this flexibility of location, there is also flexibility of internal arrangement, such as size, materials and finishes, which can me tailored to the client’s wish. The interior flows seamlessly into the exterior due to the glass walls. The roof terrace provides waterscape views which change as the house moves from one place to another and moonlit sky at night, which is different depending on the weather.
