Academy Award nominated actor Mark Wahlbers was the owner of every discerning buyer’s dream house in Beverly Hills. Back in 2009 the rapper turned actor paid $8 million for the six prime gated acres in Beverly Hills which he sold in the fall of 2013.
He hired a Quebec-born architect, Richard Landry, and builder John Finton who made vast renovations to the original estate in order to turn it into his dream home. Landry, who has just finished Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s Brentwood eco-manse, designed homes for celebrities like Rod Stewart, Sugar Ray Leonard, Wayne Gretky and Haim Saban. In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the architect said that his ‘goal has to go with finding the right proportions. There are no ginormous rooms herethere’s no ballroom, no bowling alley, no indoor basketball court […]. It’s really a good traditional family house with no craziness to it.’
