The star of blockbusters Ghost and Indecent proposal Demi Moore and Punk’t creator Ashton kutcher’s luxury Hollywood love nest sits on around an acre of land boasting privacy as well as openness to nature. Tucked on a canyon hillside in Beverly Hills, the house gives you a feeling of ‘hanging in the trees.’

The actress bought it in 2003 and even back then it held a youthful vibe what with its indoor-outdoor blend. The6,700-square-foot canyon-side retreat was built in the 1950s and, when the couple revamped it, it got another two bedrooms and bathrooms and a kids’ den. By the time they broke up in 2011, it encompassed 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 garages, a deck, a garden and pool, so it was perfect for entertaining, as the actress noted in Architectural Digest,’where the house was featured in March, 2007.

Interior designer Brad Dunning made use of items belonging to the period between the 1930s and the 1970s. He kept the original architect’s vision: steel windows against mahohany, teak and Brasilian rosewood walls, floors and cabinetry, and colors that complemented nature’s brown and green. The glass walls throughout allow the daylight to flood all the interior space and the outdoors to flow into the indoor space. The couple had their own contribution to the revamping and redecorating.

Half a year after their official divorce in December 2013, Demi Moore has been reported to ditch her triplex and ground-floor unit at the famous San Remo building in New York for a whopping $75 million.
