Valderrama’s California suburban party pad ditched for $3.5 M

Celeb American actor and TV personality, Wilmer Valderrama has listed his gated 2.2-acre compound in the coveted estate area of Tarzana, California for $3.5 million, even though he purchased it from Chuck Norris in 2005 for roughly the same amount. The luxury compound is made up of three separate structures.

The 5,000 square foot single-story main house surrounded by lush grounds and tall trees has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, including a master suite with an extensive walk-in closet, dual showers and a spa tub. Any sports fan would dream of having professionally lighted tennis, basketball and regulation sand volleyball courts with a sprinkler system throughout the whole surface of the grounds. There is also a 4-car collector’s style garage for deluxe cars, 12 additional parking spots and a rooftop deck looking over the best feature of the compound: a lagoon-like pool and spa with waterfall grotto and water chute, which cost Valderrama $300,000 to customize. The compound also contains a 1,700 square foot guest house with two bedrooms and an additional 2,300 square foot multi-purpose area: production suite, office, conference room, game room or gym.

Built in 1946, the compound has undergone numerous renovations over the years but still preserves its original feel. In the entry hall one can see framed sketches of old Tinseltown celebs and fine woodwork which can actually be seen throughout the house. According to Los Angeles Time, highlights include an impressive “ornate carved wooden bar,” the great room fireplace, colorful stained glass, the spacious kitchen with center island, vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, spa and fireplaces. However, rumor has it that the resort-like property needs some updating!
