Academy Award-nominated couple, ‘Desperate wives’ actress Felicity Huffman and husband, ‘Shameless’ actor William H. Macy,star-owners on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recently splashed out $3.8 million on a five-bedroom Los Angeles mansion next to their former luxury home.
In the late ‘90s they became the owners of a big mansion on three neighboring hillside lots in a luxury area in the center of the City of Los Angeles. It is rumored that the next-door teardown house they have recently purchased, which is in bad need of refurbishing, has increased the size of their estate to nearly 2.75 acres.
The single-level house measuring 4,566 sq ft sits on 1.1 acres and consists of five bedrooms and three baths. On the grounds there is a driveway leading to a large motor court, a three-car garage, lawns in the front and at the back of the house and a swimming pool lined with palm trees on one side. The estate overlooks the L.A. skyline.
Certainly this is not the only property that the celeb moneyed couple hold in possession. Beside this compound, the twosome own a small house in L.A. and an estate in Basalt, Colorado, near the ski resort of Aspen.
