Adventurous dog sneaks on the bus alone and heads to the beach

Dogs are very intelligent creatures and sometimes they leave us open-mouthed with their actions. From calling their humans on their mobile phones to dancing on their favorite song, dogs prove no human activity it’s impossible for them. However, taking the bus for a 18-mile trip, seems a little bit too much, even for a smart dog. Or maybe not!

A four-year-old dachshund from Clacton, UK, was probably getting bored at home so he decided to show off his adventurous nature. So he may though a trip to the beach would eventually cheer him up. All said and done, as Frank, the sausage dog has somehow managed to hop onto no.61 bus, unnoticed and head to the closest beach. Which by the way it’s 18-miles away.

Meantime, Michelle Ballard, Frank’s mom got into panic and there’s was no sign of her beloved pup. So with the help of the family and friends, she desperately tried to find him.

Fortunately, one of the bus passengers found it a little bit unusual for a dog to travel alone, and after a chat with the driver he decided to take the adventurous dog home, assuming he got lost. Then using Facebook, he managed to track down Frank’s parents, who were so worried about their little furry baby.

“I thought a bus driver would have noticed and not let him on but maybe he boarded when someone was paying,” Michelle said. “Luckily, there was a kind gentleman called Michael who offered to take him back to his own home in Clacton. He took him in for the evening and was going to take him to the vet in the morning but his family spotted the post on Facebook.”

In the evening Frank reunited with his family. And while they all looked so happy to see him again, he was a little bit said, because some stranger ruined his dreams of visiting the beach all alone!

However, Frank isn’t the first dog to take a bus all by his own. Eclipse, a clever dog from Seattle, became an internet sensation after she figured out buses and riding alone to the dog park. Check it out:
