Ali Landry’s Spanish mansion up for grabs

One of the 50 most beautiful people in the world, according to People magazine, former Miss USA, model and actress and her husband, Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Monteverde are selling their Los Feliz crib. Ms Landry bought it a decade ago for $ 1 million and has doubled the asking price, looking for a much bigger home for their growing family.

Built in 1927 and renovated since then, the 3,700 square foot luxury home comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Highlights of the property include a turret beside a tiled archway which is actually the main entrance, a partially tiled entry portico, brown hardood floors and stained glass windows. According to listing details there is a faux basement with fireplace and French doors giving access to a tiled terrace with a tiled quarter moon-shaped fountain and spa.

The living room features a wood mantelpiece surrounding a woodburning fireplace complete with decorative iron screen and its French doors open to an elevated terrace providing views over the tree tops. The formal dining room boasts a wood-paneled ceiling and a French door with direct access to the terrace. Although the adjoining kitchen is not very big, it is fitted with a commercial range top, an eat-in island, raised panel cabinetry and granite countertops.

On the upper level there is a master suite with a kingsized four-poster bed and settee and with a veranda which offers city views. Next to it is a ‘Moroccan style’ master bathroom with a lengthy sink vanity, cubicle and free standing soaking tub. Another two family bedrooms share a bathroom in the hallway while another bedroom with private bathroom is well-suited for staff or guests. All is good value for money!
