Arctic fox rescued from fur farm has never seen snow, his one-of-a-kind reaction is lighting up the internet

Maciek was among the million of animals that are being raised only for their fur. Fortunately for the cute polar fox, a group of animal activists rescued him in September, last year.

When volunteers from the rescue group Open Cages Poland, initially found Maciek, he was in desperate need of help. Wounded and kept in a tiny cage, his chances of survive was extremely low. Once they took him away from the fur farm, the Arctic fox was brought to a vet clinic as he got some very serious problem with his left rear paw. But despite the doctors’ efforts, his paw was eventually removed.

However, even he only got three paws, that doesn’t stop Maciek to live a funny live and to experience freedom. He now lives at a sanctuary, where he found a comforting friend in a dog named Klara.

Being a polar fox, Maciek should have lived in the Artics, but surprisingly he has never seen snow before, until this year. And the moment he stepped on the snow for the very first time was so beautiful. His reaction of joy sends a powerful message to everyone as the wild animals should always stay in the wild.
