Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Californian stunning luxury compound

The pair’s luxurious residence in The Oaks area of Los Feliz is no doubt big enough for their large (and, rumors say, possibly expanding) family consisting of three biological children and three adopted ones.

The 5,336 square-foot-property was bought by Brad Pitt for $1.7 million in 1994 who has been refurbishing the compound over the years, to make it more family-friendly. In 2010 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie expanded their compound, allegedly for privacy reasons, by paying $1.1 million for a 3,232 sq ft house that their estate used to surround almost entirely. He gated the whole neighborhood in case the paparazzi should poke their noses. This house includes two baths, a stone fireplace, a huge main room, a bonus room, and a bar area.
There are four houses on the compound: the main five-bedroom Craftsman-style house, along with three adjoining houses, each purchased by Brad Pitt. After his latest acquisition, Pitt now owns nearly 2 acres in The Oaks, and has spent almost $5 million assembling the properties on his compound.

Jolie and Pitt own a large number of other properties: a 4,088-square-foot oceanfront house in Malibu, a six-bedroom, 7,435-square-foot mansion in New Orleans’ French Quarter, an 11.5-acre beachfront estate in Goleta, California, as well as properties in France and Cambodia.
All the more reason to expand the 8-member Jollie-Pitt family!
