Brave cyclists save drowning wild boar from churning canal

Sometimes a small act of kindness means the whole world for a helpless creature. It’s the case of this wild boar whose fate seemed to be sealed, after he accidentally fell into a churning canal. Fortunately for him, a group of cyclists were riding nearby when spotted the poor animal while desperately trying to get out of the canal.

The wild boar, also known as the wild pig is native to the forests of Europe, north-west Africa and it is also found throughout Asia. According to Wikipedia, the wild boar is one of the widest-ranging mammals in the world. There are up to 16 wild boar subspecies in the world.

In the short video you can see how two cyclists are trying and succeeded, to rescue an unlucky wild boar from drowning after it fell into a canal. Because of the canal’s fast water and high concrete edges, the wild animal stands no chances if it weren’t these kind-hearted men. Needless to mention the cyclists risked their own lives as wild boars could be extremely dangerous when they got panic. It could easily harmed its rescuers with its huge sharp tusk.
