If is to believe the rumours, dogs and postmen are not getting along very well. However, this adorable German Shepherd in New Zealand and his unidentified mailman buddy are sharing a special friendship. To top it all off, through the neighbors’ eyes the pup is an extremely dangerous one
Given the 9-month-old pup’s reputation his owner was more than surprised when checked the security camera’s footage. Apparently his beloved puppy is far from being as his neighbors claimed to be. And that because, the footage shows a postman gently petting the dog and the furry creatures seems happier than ever.
Michael Collins, the dog’s owner, initially thought it was nothing but an happy incident. However, he quickly changed his opinion when realized the lovely encounter between his dog and the mysterious mailman is actually happens on a daily basis.
“Everyday whether or not we have mail, this mailman always stops to see my dog who is only 9 months old,” Collins wrote in a Facebook post. “He always gets over looked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog, maybe cause he’s big, I am not sure. He doesn’t bark at them or growl (maybe the odd couple times he barks at people but which dog doesn’t.) But this guy here always makes an effort to get off his bike to give him a hug and a pat!” Watch their adorable interaction bellow:
