Couple pose for kissing photo to celebrate hunting of majestic lion

While the animal rights groups and conservationists are desperately trying to save the countless endangered animal species, devastating photos of trophy hunters while posing with the dead animals came up to light, causing backlashes on social media. This time a photo of a Canadian couple kissing to celebrate the hunting o a lion is waving the social media.

On a safari tour, organized by Legelela Safaris, Darren and Carolyn Carter, from Edmonton, Alberta hunted the majestic lion. Then, the heartless people posed for kissing photo while the magnificent creature is laying down dead, the Mirror reported.

“Hard work in the hot Kalahari sun…well done. A monster lion,” they wrote in the photo’s caption. “There is nothing like hunting the king of the jungle in the sands of the Kalahari. Well done to the happy huntress and the team,” the couple added.

And as this wasn’t defying already, Darren and Carolyn declared themselves “passionate conservationists.”

“We aren’t interested in commenting on that at all. It’s too political,” Darren Carter told the Mirror.
“It looks as though this lion was a tame animal [put down] in an enclosure, bred for the sole purpose of being the subject of a smug selfie. This couple should be utterly ashamed of themselves, not showing off and snogging for the cameras,” Eduardo Goncalves, the founder of the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting told to DailyMail.
