Shelter dog is desperate for love so he wants to hold hands with anyone passing by his kennel

An adorable shelter dog in Alabama has recently won everyone’s heart with his friendly nature. The pup just loves human interaction more than anything, so every time someone is passing by his kennel, he insists to salute them in such a lovely way. He just put his tiny paws out of his enclosure to hold the passerby hands

“All he wants is people love,” Desiray Miracle-Wilder – the director of the shelter told The Dodo. “He will reach his little hand out and he just wants you to touch him and hold his hand.”

Even he has always been very affectionate with people, the two-year-old Speck wasn’t able to find a permanent home so far. He is a resident of Bullock County Humane Society since September 2018. But the things are about to change, thanks to a recent footage that shows Speck’s love for human interaction.

“Speck is what you would expect of a puppy, however he wants to be best friends with his human,” Desiray told UNILAD. “My family honestly could not understand how or why such an amazing dog had been forgotten and overlooked in the shelter. The moment he reached his paw out to myself, then my husband, and my daughters I knew I needed to show the world this beautiful boy.”

Taking Facebook, Desiray shared a video of Speck while saluting people in his unique way. The adorable footage immediately went viral and thanks to it thousands of people showed their interest in adopting the lovely dog. More than that, even those who could not adopt him wanted to help, so they sent gifts or donations to the shelter.

“Once Speck’s video went viral I was overloaded with friend requests and messages on my social media wanting to adopt Speck,” Desiray added. “ew people that knew they could not adopt sent gifts to the shelter.”

But the great news is Speck will have a permanent home in upstate New York, and a family to love him. According to Desiray that was the best option for him. There Speck will be able to run and have fun all day long on a 26-acre farm.

“He will be running on a 26-acre farm with Mike, his family and two fur brothers!” Desiray wrote in a Facebook post. “We are so excited. Not only did Speck get adopted due to this video of his cuteness but he also helped a few other fur babies get rescued and he got us some food donations!”
