It has recently been reported that John J. Mack, 67-year-old former executive of Morgan Stanley, the American multinational financial services corporation, and his wife Christy, owning her own business herself, Waterfall TALF Opportunity, have just listed their duplex penthouse in a condo building on East 63rd St.
The 3,650 sq ft luxurious duplex penthouse has a 5-star-Dorchester Hotel (London) vibe and features four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a staff room with its private bathroom. On the lower level there is a living-dining room, 26-foot long, with a fireplace. There is also a rather narrow kitchen, which was redecorated not long ago and a library/den. Off the entrance hall there is a small guest bedroom with its own bathroom and a good-sized master bedroom with fireplace, closets and en-suite facilities.
The two family bedrooms on the upper level have two closets and en-suite bathrooms each. Besides, there is laundry space, an all-glass solarium looking out onto the city skyline, a built-in wet bar and a 625 sq ft terrace on which there is pricey Richard-Schultz designed furniture.
The Macks own a dumbfounding 33-foot wide coach house in a more than a hundred-year-old building on the Upper East Side and an 8,512 sq ft house in Rye, NY.
