Kitten brother and sister kept each other alive until they got rescued

Animals are nothing but a blessing for all human beings. We use to share out lives with little furry companions and they bright our days with their unconditional love. Honestly, I can’t even imagine living without my beloved pups. Whether we chose a dog, a cat, or any other lovely animal, they’re all the same – gentle creatures.

However, unfortunately every single year, countless animals are left behind by  their heartless owners. It is also the case of these two little angels. Brother and sister, the two little kittens have been thrown away by their owner, on the streets of Phoenix, Arizona.

Thankfully, despite it took a while since they were found, the poor little things managed to survive thanks to the love they carry for each other. Even after, they got rescued, they couldn’t stop hugging each other.

Given their weak condition, no one couldn’t believed how they survived for so long, al by theirselves. “The tortie girl was only 85 grams, while her brother was 120 grams,” Melinda Blain, co-founder of Bottle Baby Fosters told Love Meow. “She was the weight of an underweight newborn at five days old.”

The adorable duo stay inseparable all this time. And even when volunteers at the shelter treated their wounds, they wanted to stay together as they started to cry when they got separated for the treatment.

But Bonsai and Buddha, how they were named, started to fell they are surrounded by love. “They purred the minute I picked them up. They just seemed to know that they were so loved,” Melinda said. [They] quickly caught up in size and healed since [they] had such an awesome appetite and fighting spirits.

The little ones started to fell stronger and stronger and it would not take too long until they’ll make a full recovery. All thanks to their fighting spirit and Melinda’s devotion and love for animals.

“The brother and sister duo get extra cuddle time in the morning, and they always end up zonking out during snuggles,” said Melinda. “They’re almost totally weaned and haven’t lost their desire for constant snuggles. They always fall asleep on my lap after playtime, and I always find them cuddling together.”
