Larry the Cat, caused a brief headache for Trump’s security team

The famous Downing Street cat stole the show once again. This time, by taking a nap under Donald Trump’s armoured car. The US President visited the 10 Downing Street, the residence of UK Prime Minister. However, the president’s security team totally ignored  the “chief mouser” as Larry is called, only to have a headache because of him.

According to the British government’s website, he’s clearly one of the most respected officials working on behalf of the people. Even if, his main role is is to catch mice in the area and to look cute before, during, and after official remarks on the steps of the residence, Vox reports.  The beloved cat is living into the residence since 2011.

“Larry was recruited from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on recommendation for his mousing skills. He joined the Number 10 household and has made a significant impact,” his official bio says. “Larry spends his days greeting guests to the house, inspecting security defenses and testing antique furniture for napping quality.”

Most likely, all that Larry wanted was some attention as he hasn’t been included in the official photo.

Anyway, one thing is certain, the presidential driver wasn’t able to move the car until Larry decided of its own to move. However, it is unclear if the president Trump had to stay inside the residence until Larry left.
