Legendary Bel Air villa re-listed at $14.9M

Nonagenarian showbiz diva and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor’s gated Bel Air villa is on the market again with a 14,000,000-dollar price tag. Built in 1955, the double-story crib is set on an acre of private hillock with “270-degree, jetliner views from Downtown to the Pacific Ocean and beyond.”

The 6,393 square-foot luxury villa includes 6 bedrooms and 5 or 7 bathrooms – listing details do not specify clearly. A special place of the house is the huge circular cream-beige foyer. Among the formal entertaining rooms are a lavish living room with fireplace, a formal dining room and a reception room with built-in wet bar, all of which once “entertained guests such as Queen Elizabeth, US Presidents, CEO’s, dignitaries and celebrities.” Some of the rooms open to a fully furnished veranda that can be used as a living room, a swimming pool with statues here and there on the edge and a red brick terrace.

Upstairs there is a not so formal lavish space including a lounge with a built-in bar, a living room, a billiards table, a party room with sliding doors opening to a terrace with fabulous city views and a “master-sized guest bed & bath.” The legendary abode boasts the company of legendary neighbors, like Quincy Jones’s sprawling compound.
