Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s former Beverly Hills home

When Madonna put her Beverly Hills home for sale just one aerial picture was enough to have the home sold. The singer-songwriter-actress and her ex-husband English filmmaker Guy Ritchie purchased the house for $12 million back in 2003 and the Material Girl listed it in early 2-13 with a price tag of $22.5 million, however it sold for $20 million.

Built in 1912, the luxury residence, which was totally restored after its purchase, spans 17,000 square foot and encompasses 9 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a double-story dining room, a full-size media room, exercise room, beside several offices, staff rooms and guest houses. The house is set on prime land boasting secluded gardens, a lighted tennis court, a rectangular swimming pool complete with a pool house.

Madonna’s real estate portfolio along the time has been quite impressive. She used to own Castillo del Lago situated above Lake Hollywood and now in the possession of Fashion designer Leon Max. After that, she splashed out on Los Pavoreales, a sprawling hacienda in Los Feliz. In 2002 her next residence was Diane Keaton’s home, a Mediterranean mansion in Beverly Hills. Apart from her current westcoast bedsit, her portfolio also includes several contiguous apartments at Harperley Hall on The Bog Apple’s Central Park West, a huge extensively renovated townhouse on the Upper East Side, and Wild Ocean Farm in Bridgehampton, NY, she has owned since 2009 when she bought it from fashion designer Calvin Klein’s ex-wife Kelly. Madonna also owns a Georgian-style townhouse in the Marylebone neighborhood in London.
