Who says unicorns doesn’t exist?…only they don’t look like horses, as we all knew, but more like dogs. And this out of ordinary puppy is the proof! Everyone, meet Narwhal, the latest internet sensation.
“Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn,” on his full name has been rescued last week by Mac’s Mission in Missouri, an animal rescue centre. And as they always, they’ve shared photos with the little one they’ve rescued on their Facebook page. There are better chances for these animals to find permanent homes in this way. Only this time, Mac’s post went viral. The reason? Well, the pup they just had rescued is like nothing you’ve seen before. And that because he has what looks like a small tail growing out of its forehead.
“NEW RESCUE!!! This puppy was just found along with another older dog,” the rescue center wrote in a Facebook post. “This puppy has a TAIL COMING OUT OF HIS FOREHEAD and a foot injury of some sort. We are thankful this baby and his buddy are safe from the freezing cold. We definitely specialize in special.”
The ten weeks old adorable pup has take the internet by storm with people staggered by his uniqueness. “I have never seen a puppy unicorn before and now I love him,” a woman said. While another added: “Oh my goodness what a precious unicorn pup…I think he’s here to remind us that even out of sad situations, magical things can happen.”
Even the centre’s founder, Rochelle Steffen, was left speechless by the Dachshund-mix doggy. “”I saw the picture and I almost didn’t believe it was real,” Steffen told USA TODAY. “When I saw him Sunday morning, I got excited. He was the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, and he was so happy. You need to embrace that fact that he’s special. He was made this way for a reason. We don’t know what the reason is, but he’s amazing just the way he is.”
So far, dozens of adoption application for the little one, the CNN reports. “Everyone is super interested in him, [but] we are hopeful they are seeing the other available dogs as well,” a spokesperson for Mac’s Mission told CNN.
