Alecia Beth Moore alias Pink, the American singer who performed upside down at the Grammy’s Awards, is still trying to sell her mansion located on a nearly three quarters of an acre park-like flat lot south of Ventura, in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks neighbourhood. In 2002 she and her father, James Moore, paid $ 2 million for the property. Not having lived there quite as much as she would have hoped, she put it on the market in 2011 with a price tag of $ 4 million, yet without any success. So now she has dropped the price by half a million, who knows, maybe she’ll get lucky this time.
The 30-year-old noted pop singer and song writer was BillboardWoman of the Year 2013 and hit the headlines after performing Somewhere Over the Rainbow at the Academy Awards this year. The private gated home features 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and a high-end chef’s kitchen complete with SubZero refrigerator, Viking and Jenn-Air range, wine cellar – you name it.
According to the listing, this property is a real oasis. Outdoor space boasts an amazing infinity pool with an in-ground cave-like spa tucked behind marvellous waterfall, a barbecue pavillion, hand-hewn ‘Arte De Mexico’ double doors opening into a huge vaulted two-story foyer overlooking lush vegetation.
Being included among the most powerful entertainers in the music industry, Pink started her solo career in 2000 with the single There you go, which was included in her debut album that was to be certified double-platinum in the States. She went on to collaborate with pop celebrities like Mya and Christina Aguillera for a cover of Lady Marmalade for the 2001 Moulin Rouge soundtrack, which earned her she got a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and her number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
