Mr. Man, the Pit Bull who was rescued from emaciated and covered in scabs, is now thriving at Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
The dog was found by a woman who drove for hours in hot, stormy weather to get him help. He was so emaciated that his ribs were visible, and he had engorged ticks in his ears.
When Mr. Man arrived at the shelter, he was in bad shape. But thanks to the care of the staff at Stray Rescue, he is now getting healthier and happier every day.
One of the things that makes Mr. Man happiest is car rides. When the vet techs at the shelter take him out on a walk, they take him to sit in the car before he has to go back in. He loves them so much that he even wags his tail when he sees the car keys.
The staff at Stray Rescue is hoping that Mr. Man will be able to find a foster home or adoptive family who loves car rides as much as he does. They believe that he would be the perfect companion for someone who drives a lot.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Mr. Man, please contact Stray Rescue of St. Louis. He is a loving and gentle dog who deserves a second chance at a happy life.
