The World No.1 tennis player allegedly listed her luxury condominium in a high-rise residential tower in the Wilshire Corridor, one of Los Angeles’ busiest districts.
Serena Williams purchased this crib on 15th floor some ten years ago for $1.275M and it was later decorated by her older sister Venus – some might have doubts about her taste or expertise! Built in 2001, the condo spreads over 2,403 square foot contains two bedrooms each of them with direct access to a private marble bathroom. The master suite has access to two baths and walk-in closets.
From the narrow foyer which allows direct access to the elevator, one can enter a very well-lighted open plan living room which has a glass fireplace in one corner and two sets of windows offering views of the tops of the high-rise buildings around. There are hardwood floors which no longer continue into the large well-equipped island kitchen – here the floor is stone tiled. A small hall links the kitchen to the den with built-in bookshelves.
All in all, the interior shows signs of age and is less glamorous than one might have expected of this tennis player who has earned more prize money than any other female player. Maybe her other properties in Bel Air and Palm Beach are up to the lady’s means!
