French Canadian singer Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil have decided to unload their Jupiter Island, Florida luxury compound for a gut-busting $72.5 million, after it was estimated at $20 million a couple of years ago when the couple completed it.
Dubbed Chateau de la Lune, this majestic residence covers 1.53 acres in Jupiter Island, Florida and is designed in Old World tradition while the interior of the 15,427-square-foot house is French style. The two-story foyer has impressive stone columns, an amazing gold-leaf featured ceiling, colorful murals and decorative statuary. The flooring all through the house is of natural marble tiled on the diagonal and the arched doors include French hardware.
With his $21 million Chicago mansion re-listed, Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, who led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles, being thereafter inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 2009, is currently spending much of his time at a 28,000-square-foot estate on Jupiter Island, FL., which he started building in 2010.
