The Osbournes’ Hidden Hills on the market for $12M

“We’ve never stayed in any place longer than seven years,” those were Sharon Osbourne’s words when she and her Prince of darkness, heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, sold their Beverly Hills mansion to Christina Aguilera, when their reality show on MTV came to an end, in 2007, and they purchased a luxurious private estate in Los Angeles’ exclusive gated Hidden Hills community. She got ‘itchy feet’ before seven years had passed, and in 2011 the wacky reality family list this estate as well.

Sitting on 2.25 acres of rolling hills, the home features floor-to-ceiling windows and is filled with bright whites and multiple 19th century antiques. The home boasts six bedrooms and 10.5  bathrooms, a guest cottage with a paneled study room, a lower level recording studio and home theater, kitchenette and a foyer with a spiral staircase and two garages.  They made some adjustments to the 10,000-square-foot living space: they took down the number of room from seven to three,  added a huge walk-in closet and his-and-her baths to the master and two home offices. The luxury mansion is situated on a knoll in Hidden Hills and has stunning views of the L.A. skyline and hills. As Sharon said, “I wanted a house with best views.”

Jessica Simpson, who announced her plans to buy the estate is having second thoughts, though, after the Osbournes’ house caught fire in candle blaze in January, this year (2013).
